Reps Cars, 1. They travel faster in all gears, especially reverse. 2. They accelerate at a phenomenal rate. 3. They enjoy a much shorter braking distance. 4. They can take bumps at twice the speed on private cars. 5. Oil, battery, tire pressures and fluid levels do not need to be checke...

I will not buy another Sony product or any Apple product due to their terms and conditions. Sony have given themselves the legal ability to force you to use an item which you have bought, paid for and now own the way they want, and have used their near-infinite resources to crush anyone who attem...

This is the old mechanical KX. Not the digital one (which I don't have, and certainly wouldn't advocate freezing as the LCD and sensor probably wouldn't like it). Providing I don't use it until everything is thawed out it should be fine!

So my son, who knows these things says to me - You are from the stone ages mother. Your car doesn't have an automatic choke you idiot - it has fuel injection so it is all controlled by a sensor. The sensor will cost not a lot. Finding where it goes and fitting will probably cost a lot. . So I was...

There are loads of different problems that could cause this - as suggested above I would check on line for 'chat' related to this as it could be a dodgy sensor or something more serious. I would recommend having the car plugged in by a specialist as they will often identify the issue very quickl...

Gwyn has been out replacing her netbook, so you are safe HG :D. I've bought a nearly new one, identical to the old one, minus red wine on the hard drive, for a very good price. Just cleaning it of spurious programs and getting used to Dutch Windows .

I have to agree with David that it may not be ideal for towing (larger objects) but 'maybe' my views are down to the fact that I am a dinosaur who runs around in a brilliantly wallowy old Citroen with a 4 cyclinder 2.2 diesel and only ever uses his towbar as a parking sensor against walls and the li...

Please BE WARNED! Over the last month I have become a victim of a clever 'Eastern European' scam while out shopping. Simply dropping into Sainsbury's supermarket for a bit of shopping turned out to be quite an experience. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends. ...
