Bet your glad you didn't have the extra pooch - one toddler is enough

Sounds as if you need a good drink - and a rest

A couple of paracetamol to numb the ankles, and a couple of glasses of wine to numb everything else and I feel a lot better .

Looking at the picture of a very pregnant Victoria Beckham in todays Daily Mail I thought that at last a manufacturer (Canon??) had produced a left-handed DSLR camera ............. Ah well

Just finished putting the fourth coat of polish on the new car.

There is a reason for this beyond shine - apparently Subaru paint is fairly thin so I reckon a good thick layer of polish should give it a fighting chance on our salty roads.

Now to wait for a dry, still, warm day to fit the window tint film. This is either going to be great or a complete disaster!

Could be a long wait in Mid-Wales.

All new cars have paint that is thin and sensitive nowadays.

Well at least it's dry again - I'm off to get the 16yr old red headed fridge hoover.

No SMSs from him to say they are running late so he's either

1) on time

or

2) didn't open my email so he hasn't got my phone number

Take that back - just got an SMS saying they have just passed the Border - going to be a bit late I think

I also found an interesting experiment to do with an offcut of tint film: Make an ultra-ND filter using an old UV filter and some tinting!

It'll probably be horrible, but I'll give it a try as I have the bits in the spares box.

My red-headed fridge hoover is now 32 and still hoovering. His brothers aren't (quite) as bad.
Maybe it's the red hair?

He doesn't do the weeding either.

When we collected the 10lb of mussels ( not 5 kilo ones ! )Emma managed to find ONE (1)............................fortunately she took pity on me when I was prepping/cleaning them and offered to take over - could have been something to do with a threat - find one and get one !!
Hair has no bearing on their ability to hoover - honest

I'm with you on this one Tony, my son has red hair and eats like a horse.

My daughter has naturally blond hair and I can't leave certain food items in the fridge, come to that, I just don't but some things while she's home from Uni!
Cheers, HG

So far all the fridge has lost [ apart from meal type food ] is some bread , butter Orange juice and a can of coke !!

I'm a bit worried - this seems out of character for a teenager .

He's now hard at work on the weeds

Could be

He's now headed into Glasgow to have a chance to orientate himself . His bus ticket for a week has cost me the grand sum of £5 !! So I'll make sure he makes good use of it

Weeding is being done rapidly and pretty thoroughly - 3/4 of the front garden is done - great improvement
