You didn't miss anything in Volendam. Very overrated and overrun imho.
I suspect Floriade will be better later in the summer, but I shan't be going no matter what.
I went to the zoo with my son and Grandkids today. He was filming a peacock with his iPhone - first with one grandson, then the other. Then the peacock saw his reflection in the phone. You have to watch .

Son did debate whether he could sue Apple for making his iPhone so shiny it acts as a mirror and upsets peacocks

More decorating tomorrow probably. Sunday I have no idea, depends how the decorating goes, and what the weather is like.
Monday is Koninginnedag so a day off and a national party. We don't usually do anything for it, though we may eat an orange cream slice and wander around one of the jumble sales and see what's on offer, if the weather is OK.
Years ago we always joined in the fun and went to the free concerts, enjoyed the atmosphere and watched the fireworks, but we're getting old and crotchety or something and don't normally bother.
So we'll just enjoy the day off. Only two more days off before Christmas, and they are both in May.

Got to go to the garden centre for new pots. Frost damaged a number (which were supposed to be frost resistant/tolerant) and they've fell apart when I moved them a few weeks ago.

Thanks Tony and the same for you. We really should co-ordinate our planning so our outings form a meeting.
