I can't say for certain that far in advance but I will do my best to be there.

Firstly, how much gear has it got to carry?

I like the Lowepro Nova series - they're rugged, light, well padded and waterproof. Plus you can customise the internal layout in a mind-boggling number of ways to suit your kit. They have long shoulder straps as well as a top hand grip and the strap itself is well padded and comfortable. Best of all they're very reasonably priced and come in a range of sizes.

Which kinda goes back to the original question; how much gear has it got to carry?

I've got the Super-Takumar 28/3.5 (last version) which I believe is the same optically. It's one of only four M42 lenses to survive my New Year cull - that's how highly I rate it!

...which begs the question; what were you searching for on Flickr exactly?

The P30T needs "Cable Switch A" and was the first range of bodies not to have a standard screw-in remote release. Finding one of those could be tricky so if you really need a remote then SRB sell these: link.

Officially it's going to be a Japanese market only product so no importers will be bringing it in. Of course there's a track record of Japan-only Pentax products coming in through other channels though (the black FA Limiteds spring to mind)...

I'm certainly interested in it, but without firm specs and price it's impossible to say whether I'll be buying one or not. I'll keep waiting for now.

A 50mm lens is a 50mm lens no matter how far away you hold it from the sensor. The focal length doesn't change just because you're using it for macro work...

My Epson gives a purple cast when the heads need cleaning - run the cleaning utility on the printer and try it again.

Firmware update for all existing cameras to allow manual flash control (1/64, 1/4, 1/1 would do) of the pop-up. That's all I ask for
