I'll always remember on the street that an ex-girlfriend of mine lived on, there was a sign to warn motorists of children playing which is quite common.

However, instead of producing the sign as you would expect:

SLOW
Children Playing

someone in their infinite wisdom decided upon:

Slow Children
Playing

as the layout. I wish I had a picture...
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

Up in them thar hills (yes, we do have some in Oz), I recall one road sign saying "LOOKOUT AHEAD".
Except there was a noticeable gap between the A and the H...

On the road/pedestrian tunnel out of St.Helier going North toward St.Saviour there is a warning sign which some wag has altered from - "At peak traffic times the air quality in this tunnel is poor " to " poop " - We chuckle every time we go over there - must be an age thing !

I did find "No climbing and sliding on the funnel" on a ferry once. I was a bit bemused why they felt the need for such a specific sign!
