Walter Rohrl? I actually had a model of this very car when I was a kid - complete with the Lombard number boards. Brings back happy memories :) Comment by hefty1 on 21/02/2011 - 23:57 |

Fantastic colours indeed! Usually I try and focus on the eyes when I'm doing this sort of work but here I think you made a good choice of going for the body - really beautiful! :) Comment by hefty1 on 08/08/2009 - 11:48 |

Would have preferred to see more of the plane:D:wink:Each to their own - I prefer the sweet 99 in the foreground :) Was this a Saab autojumble? I spot a 9000 dashboard on the ground down there. Comment by hefty1 on 08/06/2009 - 23:16 |

It's a greenfinch, probably a young one as it doesn't look to have much colour yet. The ones in my garden are addicted to sunflower seeds  Comment by hefty1 on 26/05/2009 - 00:11 |

I'm not normally a huge fan of Photoshop plug-ins but I love this. The subject matches the effect perfectly and I find myself just gazing at the shell - nice one! :D Comment by hefty1 on 02/03/2009 - 01:04 |

I really like this shot, the blue sky above and the clouds below the nose give me the impression this Concord's actually in flight. :) Comment by hefty1 on 12/01/2009 - 13:58 |

Great portrait Dirk and welcome back! :D Comment by hefty1 on 02/01/2009 - 10:57 |

That's interesting: I got a brown case with my 43 but a black one with the 77 (much to my disappointment!). I hope my 31 comes with a nice red pouch like that though - it'd never get lost. :) Comment by hefty1 on 30/12/2008 - 23:24 |

I love this! The DS is a design classic and still makes a great photographic model after all these years. Great angle to shoot from :D Comment by hefty1 on 19/12/2008 - 11:54 |

I really like this; at first glance I thought it was confetti falling through the sky but then I saw it was leaves in a reflection and my whole perspective was turned upside-down. For some reason I keep thinking this could be turned into a fiendishly difficult jigsaw puzzle... :? Excellent shot anyway! :D Comment by hefty1 on 20/11/2008 - 11:05 |

Fantastic sky - looks almost like someone's thrown some huge paper ribbons across it. I'd be pleased with this one. :D Comment by hefty1 on 18/11/2008 - 17:06 |

I like this shot a lot. It would be absolutely perfect as a Christmas card I reckon - well done Peter :D Comment by hefty1 on 17/11/2008 - 16:14 |

Very pretty location! Could do with a small rowing boat or some ducks to fill up that bottom right corner I reckon. Like the reflections though :) Comment by hefty1 on 16/11/2008 - 23:25 |

Funnily enough, this reminds me very much of hotel owned by a friend of mine which is based in a 15th century Manoir in Normandy - so it actually makes me think of France! Comment by hefty1 on 16/11/2008 - 23:23 |

I like this one, top-down portraits appeal to me more than straight-on ones for some reason. Good work! :D Comment by hefty1 on 11/11/2008 - 19:51 |

Love it! A photo after my own heart. :D Comment by hefty1 on 23/10/2008 - 11:10 |

Gorgeous car and fantastic lighting! :D I'd like to see a similar shot (same car, same light, same angle) but with a different backdrop. I'm thinking outside a casino or a swish hotel with marble columns or some such. The Packard oozes glamour and deserves a Hollywood-esque scene setting. Just a thought... Comment by hefty1 on 01/10/2008 - 11:27 |
