Thanks for the comments! It's a favourite local walking area that I never tire of visiting.

Thanks, both, for your comments. I can see why you would be drawn to the first one. It's an area where I take lots of photos, trying to get the"perfect" one! Also a good walking area around the moors/tracks/fields on the sides of the Colne Valley surrounding Marsden in the bottom of the valley. You haven't seen the last of the Marsden area!

Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, but I don't think I've ever before seen the local moors looking so good! The Pennine Way goes across them, hence the stone paving to reduce the erosion. K-1 + FA 28-105. Please feel free to comment.

A superb set, John, with no.3 outstanding.

There's a real feeling of power coming through the waves in no.4 that I find very effective. The last one, too, I like, even though it's a bit on the dark side.

Lots of woodland in Beaumont Park, though a bit wild in places, too, particularly alongside the long-disused railway line. Still, good light lifts the dullest areas. Hope these appeal! I set out with my K-3 and for some reason my DA* 50-135, largely because I hadn't used it for some time and it felt a bit neglected. Probably not the ideal lens for the spot I ended up in, but with a bit of "social distancing" from the subjects, it didn't let me down! All comments welcome as always.

Thanks, all, for your comments. The winds have been so frequent and strong that a lot of usually attractive sites were stripped of foliage a while ago.

All good, as always, David, on what looks like a fairly overcast day. No.1 in particular appeals to my taste.
