A few shots from on and around the Chesterfield Canal, all with the K-1, some with the Pentax-M 28mm f/3.5, some with the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8, some with the 100 f/2.8 Macro WR and I think at least one with the Pentax 28-105 WR. As always comments and criticism are welcome.

1 and 3 for me but the others are nice too!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

+1. I think it's the way you've caught the reflection that appeals. Lovely.
Be well, stay well.

4, 10 and 11 for their geometry and pattern. Of the water pictures, 7 (perfectly positioned boat, must have taken you ages to tow it into the right place ) and 8 (love the sloping trees and their reflection, but the right hand side of the picture pulls the eye away from them, perhaps try removing a bit from the right).

Lovely set David; really portrays the ambience of that beautiful canal environment ; I have no preferences - it is a complete set of magical superbly captured evocative images

lovely range of images. The variety makes it difficult to pick favourites but 4 and 11 please me the most. Excellent equipment but the operator plays a big part!

All good, as always, David, on what looks like a fairly overcast day. No.1 in particular appeals to my taste.

All very good, I particularly like all of the canal views, the overcast lighting has enhanced the reflections in the water. Whereabouts on the Chesterfield canal is this David?

Hi Paul

This is the stretch between Turnerwood and Thorpe Salvin, which contains a lot of locks and is one of the prettier sections of the canal.
