Back local after the Northumberland trip and making the most of decent weather and lovely soft light has meant far too much processing of RAW files to do. Must be more selective about pressing the shutter! First up is the mandatory autumn walk along the Narrow Canal with the K-1 and FA 28-105mm. All comments welcome, as always. Thanks for looking!

Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay, which I had never taken the time previously to get to know - always in a hurry to get to somewhere better known, I suppose. Silly really - it's just as attractive as in its own way as anywhere else on this coastline.

And finally Seahouses, starting point for countless boat trips to the Farne Islands, but at this time of year, much quieter...

At the south end of Embleton Bay is the great tourist attraction of Dunstanburgh Castle, probably more frequently accessed from the Craster side.

A short break from home, based at Seahouses and moving up and down the coast from there. Only had a couple of days, so didn't get too far, but was quite lucky with the weather. The light was really bright at times, an opportunity to try out the K-1's exposure bracketing option. All with the FA 28-105. All comments welcome!

This one is, to my eye, much more attractive than your second set, Steve! The dark background does not dominate because of the lovely lighting of the subject. Very nice!

Very effective use of stacking, Steve, with great results as far as the subject is concerned. The background is rather dark for my liking, though, and for me detracts from the overall effect. I've been using Affinity Photo for a while now and really like it. You do end up with huge files, though!

Super selection and variety, David. Looks like a photographer's dream location!

I've tried in the past to photograph the Humber Bridge, but never came up with anything as impressive as these, the last three in particular.
