Certainly a labour of love, impressive dedication. It looks good, I think, but a photo like this deserves to be viewed large and the click through version is too small.

I was trudging around too. The clarity of the air was superb and rare for London. I really like the fine, sharp detail on Big Ben but the last shot is my pick of this set.

Congratulations on your success. There is plenty of room for comedy in photographs, the comment from the judge is ridiculous. However, I wouldn't categorise it as comedy. It is natural behaviour, undoubtedly endearing and amusing, but that doesn't mean it's comedy. I do find the framing too tight and I think it would be better suited to a narrower crop, but it has plenty of merit.

Even better, I have a few days in Brighton during which time I intend to go photo nuts. It's a place I know very well, but if anyone has any suggestions as to hidden photographic gems then I'm all ears.
