I have looked at flickr, 500pix and 1x and I didn't find a better white tigers portrait than 7. The perfect eye contact and the natural look of this shot I would imagine are remarkably difficult to achieve. To what extent does the subject matter, well hugely. Of course. I would definitely tone down the highlights a bit and I'd clone out what looks like a potato at the bottom. But I stand by my outstanding, because that is exactly what it is amongst its peers.

All decent images, but none really grab me. Except for seven which is truly outstanding. The horizontal and vertical elements work perfectly and the detail and sharpness is impressive. I think you're right to write your name all over it.

It's good for other subjects too, I'm sure you'll find a use for it.

I'm selling my DFA100, but I wouldn't post it to Ireland for a much better price than that display model. I'd snap it up, it's a good deal.

Yes this thread is about the 10stop ND. I use the screw-in B&W, so all the light leakeage is viewfinder. Of the squares I know the Lee has a foam seal and I'd like one eventually as the blue cast seems easier to deal with than the B&W purple. But they seem just about impossible to find, they seem to be traded at more than cost. Don't know about the Cokin.

In the meantime I'm sticking with the bluetac, does the job.

Unfortunately I missed this thread, I could have diagnosed that immediately. One of my useful photo accessories is a lump of blue tac to stick over the viewfinder to prevent this light leakage with long exposures.

Seriously impressive. There does seem to be something strange going on with the hairs where the body meets the wing, some gaps. But the detail is something else.
