Nice shots, we've had good weather for it thankfully- if a bit cold!
Who was giving you trouble about the tripod?

Yeah, nice clear skies, not like last time i was down there. The police didn't like it at 8pm saturday night @ picadilly circus. Security didn't like it at Tower Bridge either. Jobsworths i think as i wasn't causing an obstruction or on private property. I also saw a bloke get escorted away from an underground platform for taking photos with an SLR!

Quite a nice set, I like the last one and the phone box is also good (needs straightening perhaps?) - but someone needs to get busy with the rocketblower, I think!
I noticed the dust after my first day out. I gave it a good clean and all seemed fine. Then, guess what... Back it comes. Grrrrr

Some nice ideas here. I think you would benefit from a bit sensor cleaning though. there is some debris on most of them.

I was trudging around too. The clarity of the air was superb and rare for London. I really like the fine, sharp detail on Big Ben but the last shot is my pick of this set.

A nice set there I particularly like 3 & 5, an unusual angle of the Eye and the Thames.

My brother and I were challenged by security last year for taking photos of Tower Bridge outside City Hall as we looked like "pros" and we were on "private property." There are a couple of signs on the wall stating something like that but it was interesting that no-one with a compact was approached! Having assured them we were keen amateurs he left us alone
