Pentax deny any knowledge of any such module, so has it died a death?
As the K7 comes compete with video, are we now going to get a K9GTS, with carbon fibre body, self levelling horizon mode, any colour as long as it's black, automatic focus ,automatic zoom,Gps position LED display, solar powered battery, radio controlled date and time, hydraualic self extending tripod, and a tea making module for those long trips in the field?,

Yes I use both 8Gb and 16Gb SDHC cards in my K10 with no problems at all. They are not the expensive ones. The 8Gb ones are DANE-ELEC and the 16Gb ones are TRANSCEND. If I remember correctly all were bought from 7DAY SHOP, or some similar web store. CHEERS Vic.
Any plans to use the 32 Gig Dane Elec SDHC card?

Peter

I am seriously wanting to buy this lense before the prices go up in June.
At circa £195 it is not that expensive, but is there a better lense for the same sort of money that I should be looking at?

Peter

The first rule of cleaning lenses is don't. At least, unless absolutely necessary.
Personally I would not use spectacle cleaning wipes because they are impregnated and may have an adverse effect on the lens coatings.
I use the Pentax microfibre cleaning cloth and this seems to be totally satisfactory.
A scratched filter, is easy, and fairly cheaply to replace, not so with a scratched lens!

Hi All,
I was just wondering as we all end up taking so many shots, what do you do with them once taken? Apart from sharing a few of them on various websites. I have some of mine turned into a photo album and calenders and cards at Christmas, but a hardly print any off in comparision to the number taken. Its a bit of a waste really.
Interested to hear what others do.
J
I shoot in Jpeg and Raw, and when I get home from shooting pictures, I put my 16 Gig card into my card reader and plug it into the USB port on the side of my television, and watch the slide show.
This gives me a good idea of which shots to keep and which ones I want to discard.
I then download the card in my "My pictures " folder on my HDD,and all that remains, is for me to back up "My pictures" to my "F" HDD, so I have a permanent record, and then I can edit and adjust through Lightroom.

All great things come to an end sooner or later
but I still prefer my k10 to my k20 sometimes.
Shining examles are PC's, the new car that is depreciating as soon as you drive away from the showroom, and now it seems my beloved K20D is to join this list.
I can only say that the K20D works for me, and the time to change it, is when I win the lottery, or when it no longer performs the tasks for which I purchased it in the first place!

Peter

I have reglazed all the broken glass, and with my friend's help, it is back to a working condition.
It needs a casement fitting to the opening vent, and it could do with a couple of new bracing bars to the opening vent, and also to the area in the greenhouse where the casement fitting attaches.
The size is 8 feet x 6 feet.
Please look at the photo in the gallery, and if you recognise the make, please e-mail me through Pentax User.
Kindest regards,
Peter

I've got my JVC, horizon not level, correct with Lightroom.
Body only at £1200, I don't think so, unless some kind soul buys one for my birthday in November, or unless the Lotto comes up.
Any offers of one for my birthday present?
