Quick question Pentax 55 - 300

It's a cracking good lens, buy one as soon as you can! Seriously, I was thinking about how I'm much more in a telephoto mood these days. I used to be a wide-angle person, but now I'm not so sure.
Anyway, this lens is well made, superbly sharp and really very nice to use. It's cheap at the current price, so I wouldn't hesitate for a moment.
Recommended.

Great feedback, thanks John. You have twisted my arm and will order from SRS. Does one get further discount for being on the forum?

Just give your Pentax User username in the comments box and they will deduct the shipping cost. I'm presuming you are talking about a web order.
If you phone them, just ask for the free shipping.

At circa £195 it is not that expensive, but is there a better lense for the same sort of money that I should be looking at?
