No, missing EXIF is not of significance. As I wasn't using it as the competition entry I saved for WEB from Photoshop. It was taken with the Sigma 105/2.8 Macro, F9.5, 1/3 s, ISO 200.

And I thought that it would be a bit too obvious at first...

Well, I certainly know of some shops in Southampton. And there should be some shops in every city where you can get these magical instruments...

Well, #1 and #3 you cracked. #2 is a time machine but not in the physical sense... So, no, nothing to do with the grandfather clock.
And Martin, you are right about the gold.
Have you read my comment for the competition entry? I thought that should give a clue.

This was an inspiring theme for the fortnightly competition. Here are three more that I considered as entries:
This was the first idea

That one was shot today and submitted for the weekly competition

Also shot today and my close second for submission

Some very imaginative and outstanding entries so far. Good luck to the judge, I should say.
I certainly agree with that!

On a personal note to Ralf,
I haven't got the slightest idea what it is, or how you did it.
But is certainly is one worthwhile hanging on the wall. Colourful, joyfully and very creative !!
Thanks Martin! It's good to read that it isn't as easy as I thought it would be. But it's always easy when you shot it yourself... I still haven't figured out yours, BTW (nor Belinda's or Coriander's entry).

Congratulations, Peter!
I had a look and only see two, "Fungi" and "Bullring". Is it one of those that made the Premier Collection? (Well, I looked through it and found "Bullring", as I thought I would.) I would be interested to see what you thought was the strongest. I really love the "Bullring"!

Well done!

I had just another one of my Kaua'i series declined:

I was pretty sure it would get in, but then this is what keeps the excitement, you never know...

Oh NO! That is bad news
I'm really sorry for the both of you. One thing for sure, though: You won't ever forget that honeymoon.

Best regards to Fiona and a "Get well soon" from all of us.

Please keep us updated,

For a little more colour in John R.'s life, may I suggest to change the plain old "Pentax User Team" into a more shiny "Pentax User Super Hero". Wadda 'ya fink?

Are you saying that the LCD may be way out?
YES!

I have tried to tweek the LCD but does not really make that much of a difference. If the LCD is so far out, how can you possibly assess the picture when you take it? or is that the reason for shooting in RAW????
It certainly is one of the reasons to use RAW for me. How can you check the white balance on the camera LCD when the sun is shining brightly, for example?
The LCD might be close to real under certain light conditions but certainly not under all conditions.
