I moved from the K20D to the K7 in march 2010 and have no regrets as I find ISO 3200 is usable for my style. The K7 is a good buy and i have no regrets. Will only change when the shutter conks out on me or the next next generation comes along.

jacqui,

go for the K-x as you need the high ISO for taking photos of your daughter in low light situations.

i went from the K10D to the K20D to the K7. I switched from the K20D to the K7 because of the faster AF of the K7 at the time.

I have managed to take good photos even up to ISO3200 though I have not tried 6400.

The K-r and the K-x are both good DSLRs. The different is the K-x does not have the AF illuminator (lil red dot) in the VF while the K-r has it.

That's a very good price, i would seriously consider selling if I could get that amount, I suppose variations are due to condition
Yes, depending on condition. THe beter the condition, the better the price. If you can sell as as set it would fetch a better price too.

I use the K3 screen from www.focusingscreen.com and it is bright even indoors. But at USD$74, it is cheaper than the Katzeye screens.

Here in Singapore the FA*28-70 F2.8 can fetch as much as SGD $1600 or 776 Sterling pounds. (Sorry but my keyboard does not have the pound sign)

Keep as a set and if you want to sell pls sell as a set. You will many buyers who want the FA* Lens. I would love to et it but I do not have the funds to do so at this moment.

Using live view the focus tends to be slower. Using the camera as you should via the VF, there is no slowness issue. . .

i have used the K-x with a 50-200mm WR indoors for an event and the focusing is spot on.

Using an 18-250 lens indoors is not going to help you in low light. That lens's minimum aperture is F3.5 and you need at least F2.8 for low light.
