Hi Everyone,

THanks for looking at my photos and I found the problem with my"pixelated" photos. It was the software I used to resize. Cannot figure out the horizontal error though, seems to be user error for this.

Here are the pics again but corrected.

On a critic side of things, the horizens are super slopey and they've rendered very blocky ?
THanks for the comment. Think it has something to do with the software I used to downsize the image. My original does no look so bad.

Thanks everyone. Can't remember what came with the camera. Didn't pay much attention, but think they were Lithium.

I updates thye Firmware about a month ago. Not seen any updates since then, but will check again.

Will check out all of the suggestions given. Heading into town tonight where I think there was camera shop off one of the alleys. Will see what they have.

Many thanks to everyone.

Any Supermarket/Hypermarket will carry the Energizer Lithiums. They come in 2 pack or 4 pack.

I have a Kenko/Hoya filter fitted on to my DA*16-50 since the day I bought the lens which was about 2 years ago. This is a clear filter and it is the Pro 1 D filter. 2 months ago, I accidentally dropped the lens from waist height and it dropped face down. The filter was smashed to bits but no damage to the front element.

There are advantages to putting a filter in the front albeit a good filter. It depends on what you prefer and I have the lens hood there too.

The K-r is definitely better than the K7. It s newer and with the latest sensor. High ISO is also better.
