yep rumours of a digital 110 (whose film size is within a half a millimeter of the micro 4/3's system)...
Rumours of pentax evil with photo:
if true note that big flange around the lens mount... lens release in the right spot and looks deep enough to be a standard k-mount! the marked points would suggest that flange spins and acts like samsungs e-dial...
This could be the camera I've been asking for!

What matters if it has the sensor from the kr or kx and good video!

I don't think a kx body with the pentaprism hump lopped off would be too ugly...

seems like the k5 is about to be tested by pop photo...
interesting choice of subject matter.... take the Pentax into what is traditionally Pentax's achilles heal... fast sports....
also photo pro considers the k5 a pro model....

I'll stick to my black one thanks.
I don't mind all the brightly coloured K-x and K-r models, but personally (and I'm probably in a minority of one here) I really don't like the silver models. They look cheap some how.

Silver paint is not the same as an MX style metal bodied camera. But at least the underlying material is not plastic. Silver plastic is the worst ever.

When I grew up in photography, photographers paid extra just to get a black model rather then a chrome one, now it seems to be the other way round also I am not sure if its really photographers that work with the camera on a day to day base would get a chrome body.
The purpose of having a black body in the 'old' days was that people where less likely to realise that you took a picture till you had the shot. With a chrome model that goes out of the window as it is more visible and the 'object of attention' will notice quicker if someone is trying to take a picture.
I believe it is more for collectors then for photographic purposes.
Strange how the world is changing sometimes.

Pentax AF 360FGZ, Pentax AF 240FT, several Metz 45 CT-1 & 5 with stands and 'Blow Up' Soft Boxes, Flash Triggers, and various Macro gear.
