Looks great. Cinema surely (with bar).

I actually think the K3II is really appealing. The inbuilt startracer function/GPS I think is really something and the pixel shift looks rather impressive too. The launch price is really competitive - it gives a lot more over a Nikon alternative, Those functions could well tempt some to upgrade but new buyers I think would favour the K3ii over the K3. I would certainly go for a K3ii if I weren't awaiting the ff. However, I see no reason at all to go for a GRii over a GR. It's a testament to how good the GR already is, but not great for business,

It seems we have truly reached a plateau if there is no need to upgrade the sensor after a couple of years. I have been procrastinating for ages seeing what else would become available in the quality zoom compact world but also in the hope that there would be an equivalent 35mm fl version of the GR. I shall procrastinate no more - the GR it is as it simply blows away the image quality of the likes of the much vaunted Sony RX100s. However, I have been no reason at all to invest in the latest model and I suspect the same will be true for most. It will have to come down in price much closer to the old model. That's the problem all round the camera business at the moment - no real innovation to escape the plateau. It doesn't mean it isn't a great camera, it is, but persuading people to upgrade is becoming very difficult,

Maybe, but the question then would have been too late.

Are there any left? I couldn'ty see any and that would be a good reason not to buy one.

Maybe they will upgrade the coating. The 18-135 seems to sell well, seems well suited as a travel lens for the extra reach and smaller size. There must be room for this and the 16-85, which is pricier too.

I agree with DT. These are lovely images and I really like the dramatic contrast between the pleasant skies and the foreboding grey mountains which is most evident in colour. 1is my pick.

This will always split the jury. I know how difficult this is as I have dabbled and largely with poor results. My personal preference is for the resultant image that doesn't contain any clear signs of camera movement - eg: ghosting - those images where you can't be sure if it's due to subject movement, camera movement, or simply defocused. So something like 1 which is dreamy and easy on the eye. Number 11 I really like too with clear focal points in an otherworldly setting. I like the drama and colours of 8 but find it a little queasy viewing. One of those things, you ask 100 people and you'll receive 100 quite differing opinions. Just like dealing with rules in France.

Good luck, whichever you decide then I would advise straightening the horizon.
