I read that there are inherent risks with an airshow and that there should be some risks in life. I accept if I were to go to an airshow that there is a remote possibility of a tragic accident impacting me. However, the impact here is on those who just happened to be passing. I have no particular knowledge of airshows or aerobatics but a loop the loop manoeuvre in a dense urban conurbation strikes me as inherently reckless. The sea is very close and a good view would have been had by all - why could it have not been performed higher in the sky and over the sea? I think I know why since spectators would have been more inclined to watch for free from the beach.

I think the Shoreham airshow will not happen again and I would not want it to.

I very much doubt anyone was lost 'at the show', The casualties were passing traffic on a very busy A road and unlikely to have had anything to do with the show that had started two and a half hours earlier.

Difficult to see how the show will go ahead when so many people who had nothing to do with the show are dead or injured. Wouldn't seem right,

Horrific. I was planning to drive to watch the show in the afternoon so would have passed the crash site, which was at traffic lights on the A27. I took the bus instead, missed a connection and arrived just after the accident. There is an extraordinary image on the Brighton Argus website of the precise moment the plane hit the road.

I think that sounds great, possibly. The stuff that dreams are made on.

My 'A' 100mm f2.8 macro was used by a portrait photographer before me and he used it to very good effect indeed. But it isn't cheap.

I forgive you. I'm sure you'll make great use of it.

Fab composition. My preference is the mono. I'm not keen on the haloing, it's a price of foreground detail but I don't see why a more natural light balance wouldn't work.

Now sold, Finally, Not sure what's happened to the used lens market. Regardless of the forthcoming full frame this is a fine lens and will perform very well indeed on the excellent Pentax APSC cameras. A3 prints no prob.

I have a nice, minty one in the classifieds.

It's a very good lens and amongst my most used (not the one for sale, my other one). Very good for someone as meticulous as I am with very good corners and edges and well controlled lens distortions. Personally I prefer 24mm over 20mm too.

I am now a UK member.
