I never got the point of sites with a welcome page and a home page. Why not just a home page, which should be welcoming.

I really like the look of the site, the black background and the typewriter thing works well. Good job, good luck.

I heard the discussion on the Jeremy Vine show yesterday. The photographer put the airbrushing down to a 'technical error'. I suppose it would make sense to ask the client in advance whether they want blemishes dealt with. Some would, some wouldn't. It did seem a bit ridiculous that it had become a national news story though since the photographer had apologised and provided a new version. I agree that the photographer can do as they wish but maybe the subject should know they might be on display to the world. I don't know on this point, I don't ask for permission myself and probably won't change that.

I like the photos of Vera, very natural. The third is my pick.

Exceptionally well done in challenging conditions.

Good luck with your move.

I must admit if I were going to buy a more compact option then it wouldn't be Pentax either as I just don't find anything that fits the bill. It seems that is the case for many enthusiasts.

I'm not sure what the point of the warning to the membership was, but if I were in the Pentax organisation I would regard discussions like this as extremely valuable market research.

Great variation on the theme and top quality throughout. Number 3 for me.

First is a terrific shot.

Whatever that is I am impressed. And whatever it is it is well deserved too.

Great to see them all together, some top stuff there. The Gaga is very good, but my fave is Dave Grohl, or perhaps Jarvis Cocker.

I can tell you. Uploaded on 4th November and approved this morning. The odd thing is though that 4th November batch of five uploads were all approved this morning. Even though I assume they would have been close to each other in the presentation for voting they can't all have reached the same number of yes votes at the same time.

Not just 16:9 and this was realised long before widescreen tv with the advent of cinemascope (generally regarded as 2.35:1). The Searchers wouldn't have been the same in anything less.
