These are not my only lenses but the ones I will mostly be using now as my regular kit are:

FA31Ltd
FA43 Ltd
FA77 Ltd
Tamron SP90mm Macro
Voigtlander 125mm Macro
A*200 Macro
DA*300mm

I need something to cover the wide end. Ideally the Irix 11mm or Laowa 12mm and then a 20mm (will wait to see what becomes of the roadmap, but thinking about the Samyang as a stop gap). I am using the 12-24mm in the meantime and it's not too bad.

The K7 is just fine in bright light as in this scene. But in lower light then it was simply blown away by the K5.

I'm finding it hard to resist, I doubt it'll be long now.

Older lenses have a different look, a different character. I have the DFA 100/2.8 macro and the A100/2.8 macro and I like using them both. Same goes for the K30 and FA31.

In terms of bargain lenses then a K55/1.8 or M50/1.7 you might as well have since they are so cheap.

What I have noticed is certain lenses really coming into their own with the K-1. The FA43 for example looks terrific.

I think the body is a very competitive price and I'm sure the margins are not large - I mean compare it to the Nikon D810.

The price creaming here is clearly with the lenses - they will come down in price.

However, the company (division thereof) needs to remain profitable for future development so I'm prepared to pay a reasonable price.

Number 7 is fabulous with knobs on - it has a 3D look about it. The image quality on the subject is really excellent (just don't like the bokeh in the likes of 2 which is a shame otherwise I'd buy the lens in a heartbeat).

I see no sense in buying a Pentax (way overpriced) battery. I do stick to a reputable name rather than a Chinese no name. My spare is a Hama. It has performed as well as the Pentax original. After six years it is still going strong whereas the Pentax original no longer holds a charge.

I seem to have launched a whole new thread. I don't really judge bokeh by already diffuse backgrounds (like the foxglove images) rather how it copes with a messy background - grass, twigs, that kind of thing. And to me from the examples so far that seems a bit fussy in comparison with the DA*300 which is excellent in that regard. The likes of the reeds in Steve's shot on the other thread definitely reminds me of the 55-300. I have not dissimlar shots with the DA*300 and, although it's not scientific, the bokeh is definitely less eye catching. You can't have everything of course.

The 150-450 makes an awful lot of sense on full frame. From what I have seen it is superb. My only concern would be the bokeh - very important to the kind of photography that the long lens suits and the DA*300 performs particularly well. Often the achilles heel of the zoom, so an opinion would be interesting.
