'The man who can only think of one way to spell a word just lacks imagination' - Mark Twain.

Shooting straight into the sun will always be problematic. Unfortunately you have no detail at all where the sun is and if you had exposed to get detail there, the rest of the picture would be too dark.
HDR is a useful technique to get over this problem, or wait till the sun is behind a thicker bit of cloud.

Try Tesco, Morrison's, Lakeland plastics etc.

Just any bag that seals.

You certainly did a good job on number 2 Simon. The hut does look loads better in your photo than usual, seems to fit into the landscape more.

I guess number 1 just has those wonderful reflections, colours and a perspective that makes Yr Wyddfa much more impressive.

I think I would chose number 1. I've always thought that hut in number 2 is a bit of an eyesore, even if your photo seems to make it fit in to the landscape better. Lovely set.

Of course its going to be like this soon, only better!
I tell myself this every year but I think it only happens during the week. Saves the really thick cloud for the weekends when I,m up there.

My camera kit is covered on the 'All Risks' section of my house insurance. This covers things taken out of the house and can be increased as needs be to cover the value. Much cheaper than separate insurance but you must check the details of your cover as each policy can offer different cover.

You really need to read the policy documents to check the cover provided. Same goes for any stand alone insurance, you generally get what you pay for but there can be savings on combined policies.
