If you think about it, there must be a little.
When you put a lens on the camera, as the rotation gets to the point of the release pin snapping into lock position the lens can be moved a very slight bit more. It has to do this to ensure the lock pin has enough tolerance to operate properly to lock the lens on the camera but still be easy to release when you want to remove the lens. Moving parts need to have some space to allow movement, just enough but not too much!
As the water resistance gasket is circular, it will still work fine, being hard up against the camera mount during the attachment of the lens.

As far as I know the Samsung Xenon lenses were identical to the Pentax lenses of the same age. There was a suggestion that the coatings may have been different but i'm happy with my fisheye zoom anyway.
All the best, Bob.

Designed for the K series kit but basically a case for your Pentax kit.
£20.00 plus postage of your choice. Alternatively, pickup from West Berkshire possible.

Checked it on a 55mm f1.8 supertakumar which has a 49mm filter on it. It fits fine but obviously wouldn't be much use as it is for the field of view of a 28mm!
Happy to answer any other questions.

Looking at £10 each + post at cost, with the case.
Collection from near Newbury would be possible to save on post.
I also have an empty case if anyone is looking for one.

As long as it fits ok in the battery chamber, an SR44 (silver)or LR44(alkaline) 1.5v battery will work the meter fine. These are the same as the ones used on the K, M, P and most of the A series cameras. They are a different shape but usually will fit ok but may want a bit of careful packing with a bit of paper or thin card, to keep them central in the battery chamber and in contact with the battery contacts.
There is also a battery replacement for the old PX400 battery called a WEIN Cell but they are expensive and don't last well, whereas the LR44 are cheap and easy to get hold of.
All the best, Bob

It's got the drama and those clouds are magic in mono.
All the best, Bob.

I see these and all I can think is a cuppa tea and a fresh cream scone and jam - although that starts a new debate of jam or cream first?
