Getting more and more dissatisfied with the shots and lack of flexibility from my 4 year old Lumix Compact, I started looking into upgrading to something a little more serious. I'd looked at CSCs, but realised that most of them lacked a "proper" viewfinder and limited Lens choices. After looking at entry level Nikons DSLRs, I looked at the specs and prices on the Pentax offerings, and have taken the plunge with a K30. I've been a Pentax user before, having had an ME Super in the early 90s and still have my P30T which I've had from new - In late October I took the P30 with me and my other half to Venice and was amazed by some of the shots It had taken in comparison to the Lumix - Looking forward to getting back into it!
