I seem to have great trouble with the stock people whenever I include a trademark in a pic. What do you know that I don't?
Well, as long as it's used in an editorial sense, then there should be no problem. Search Alamy for any trademark/name and you'll get a huge variety of pics: Coke, Guinness, Pentax...

I believe there are restrictions, in that you can't just upload a photo that is the logo or trademark (ie. nothing but the Guinness logo), but if constitutes just a part of the image that's fine.

One of my photos on Alamy has been licenced for use as a magazine cover next week, but I have no idea what magazine. Normally I wouldn't worry, but it features my wife's uncle's hand, so it would be nice to get a copy for him to have.

The photo is this one, if you happen to see it on a mag (perhaps a sunday newspaper supplement, I think it's a weekly publication) could you please let me know on here, I'd be most grateful.

Thanks,
Dan

My MZ-5n had it too, but I never used the flash so it didn't bother me.

Can't remember if I contributed to that thread or not, but glad Hugin worked for you. I must download it myself one day, and see how it compares to doing it by hand.

4MB? If it does say that, rather than 4Gb, then that's your problem!

I would expect the error to be proportional to the distance focused. You could always try it. Set the camera up on a tripod pointing at a wall at 45 degrees, make a chalk mark where you can focus the camera, then see where the actual image is focused upon. That should work enough to give you an idea of what will happen at realistic distances.

When you say you've seen the correction option, does that mean you've tried it and it doesn't work enough for this lens, or just that you're aware of it? If it's the latter, try correcting the lens, and if it works, don't worry about it anymore.

Looking at the large image here (https://www.pentaxuser.com/photo/take-off-10471/large) it looks like heat haze has taken the edge off the sharpness. Was it a hot day, or was there another plane taxiing past just out of shot?

Are you using 16 bit images? I don't think you can save them as jpegs until you've first converted them to 8 bit.
