I think you got a better angle on this than your Dad, nice and clean, allowing the robin to stand out well (no disrespect Cedric ;-)).
Unfortunately it does highlight the shortcomings of your Tamron...

I've got a very similar shot of him! :-) Only way to avoid the reflections is to make sure something black, or very dark, is where the reflection would be.
And if you want to attract his attention next time you're there, lift up your top and show him your belly - that'll bring him over to the glass if needs be. ;-)

Really nice colours on this, lovely gradation from cool to warm.
I got a bit fixated with sand patterns when I went to Norfolk earlier this year - spent hours on the beaches there. :-)
