Timescale late this year apparently.

Should be a very nice addition to the range.

My timing was poor...didn't notice under 'Latest Postings'

Brilliant shot.

I do love fairground rides for the totally natural expressions and spontaneity

+1

I end up having to clean my K-50 sensor about 2-3 times a year...maybe more noticeable because I shoot a lot of aircraft and the spots show up against the sky too easily. Had to do the same with my K-x.

Must have cleaned sensor(s) about 6-7 times altogether, just use a £15 kit from Amazon with liquid and APS-C sized 'scrapers'...for want of a better description.

So far no problems...occasionally I have to do the same job twice as not cleaned properly the first time but surprisingly quick and easy. No way i'd pay someone £30-£40 to do it.

Very nice...i'm sure you'll be eager to share the experience

SRS have got 'Limited Availability' on this lens now...anyone tempted to be one of first owners?

Really good set Derek...on top of what you've produced previously.

I reckon some of these would look really good printed with a view to wall mounting...have you considered creating a series to sell?

Can't argue with the sheer value for money at that price.

I presume Pentax are 'clearing the decks' to make way for the new APS-C flagship.

I do feel for Pentax's loyal UK dealer base though who are effectively being 'kicked in the teeth' by Pentax...expected to compete by having to charge 40-60% more!
A second year warranty to me is only worth about £40-£50.

Pentax should be giving these small number of dealers stock at prices that will allow them to compete with Amazon.

Maybe the government should be looking into this with a view to regulating the practice.

Well done Mike...nice shots. I actually prefer the middle one as it shows the whole bird.

I go jogging in some local woods and hear these all the time...but can be very difficult to spot amongst foliage...winter probably the best time to get them.
I've yet to get any shots of them...so congratulations.
