Wow...didn't see that coming...what a shame.

I've bought quite a few new and used cameras/lenses off them in the past and always found them great to deal with.

They were very invested in Pentax...maybe that hasn't helped as Pentax business has presumably rapidly diminished over the past 2-3 years.

Excellent narrative put together around those enlightening shots David...really well done.

Mushrooms and fungi in general though...what an enigma for most...depending on which one you pick you can get to experience everything from a tasty, healthy meal to agonising death and everything in-between, the most popular middle stop being a state of altered consciousness (so I believe!).

I wonder how population growth in ancient times was affected in these lands, as a process of 'trial and error' took place whereby someone lived or died depending on which fungi they picked and ate at random.

Sounds great...would definitely be one of my favoured destinations in India....my other half hankers after a trip to the Maldives though...near the top of her 'bucket list'

Could do with two full lifetimes really...one isn't nearly enough!

Pleasing images...very good value on the face of it with the K-1.

My take on this is that the most likely result will be a DSLR with no video facility and no facility to use AF lenses in AF mode...reverting in effect to the older purely MF K-Mount.

This would be cheaper for everyone...OEM and user and would 'leverage' millions of K-mount lenses still in use whilst appealing to the photographer who gets enjoyment from creating an image rather than merely seeing how long they can hold the shutter down for before the buffer fills up.

Lovely colours...and yes I think autumnal leaf activity has started to arrive already.

These past few days in particular have seen lots of smaller than normal but very dry leaves from Beech trees start to cover our rear lawn.
