Spurred on by recent shots, Cheers Gareth, and a few others, i managed to make time to get to Poolbeg lighthouse, its only a little one but it is the closest to me, and the weather was promising, however i got there and some security guys had the access blocked of due to the inclement weather, ( the exact purpose of the visit) anyway, these are the best I could do, from a distance

The third one for me, it looks like a painting. The other are a tiny bit off for some reason. Maybe I just prefer a bit more drama (that the third provides).

That third one is really dramatic - especially at a larger size.

The first and third look like the same shot to me, I like both versions. The middle shot is missing some of the fore-water drama that the others have.

1st and 3rd are the same shot with a slight difference in the edit, wasnt trying to pull a fast one but was undecided as to which way to go, i tend to go for darker moodier edits and did the 1st to see if maybe I should start to change my processing, I guess the answer is no

This is the reason for the roadway being closed

First and third both work well indeed. The last one you added is the stunner for me, though - great framing, and a story or two (or three...) to be found in there.

It's nice that the lighthouse in the opening images are not the main feature in the images and the sea and weather are, giving the images atmosphere. I especially like the mist like qualities in the water in no.1, something I tried to capture when I was at Porthcawl lighthouse last time.
