Can't argue with the sheer value for money at that price.
I presume Pentax are 'clearing the decks' to make way for the new APS-C flagship.
I do feel for Pentax's loyal UK dealer base though who are effectively being 'kicked in the teeth' by Pentax...expected to compete by having to charge 40-60% more!
A second year warranty to me is only worth about £40-£50.
Pentax should be giving these small number of dealers stock at prices that will allow them to compete with Amazon.
Maybe the government should be looking into this with a view to regulating the practice.

Silver got down to £489 yesterday eve.. That is nearly £100 less than they were selling the K70!
Now up to £539. ~£40 less than they are offering black.

I ve read that KP has been a success in attracting new clients to pentax so this inventory flush might be another reason on top of freeing space for Knew
