I see that Will Cheung is now freelance & nothing to do with photography magazines now...he's now listed with "Welshot" as one of their photographers. Looks like this company is having a bit of a PR push, just been contacted by them myself - suprisingly (not) it involved me paying towards a membership !!

I moved from the GX10 to the K20D & find them pretty similar - I use +0.7EV on the K20D just as I did on the GX10

Hi Simon

I notice that you offer prints larger than 18x12 inch on your website, do you use them for these prints, or do you use another supplier?
Hi Richard,

I haven't used them for the larger sizes as they use inkjet printers above 18x12 - I did discuss this with them & was told that the inkjet prints wouldn't be quite the quality of the smaller prints.

I've used a company called TOGSPRINT for the larger prints, a little bit more expensive but very good quality and excellent service

hope this helps

Thanks for the comments everyone...personally the 2nd is my favourite, it's a 104s exposure and the shadows have been lifted slightly in ACR to show a little more detail in the buildings...

Ken...yes, it was a bit strange seeing the sun rise from the sea rather than behind 3000ft mountains - quite enjoyed the change too

I've just returned from a great few days away having stayed at Whitby Lighthouse - my prize for winning the 2010 Trinity House Lighthouse Calendar Competition. Obviously I couldn't resist a photo or two. I tried a "day & night" theme...all c&c appreciated

Hi All,
would love the pentax but just can't believe it is worth twice the sigma.

I agree, having owned both the Pentax definitely isn't worth twice the price, I bought my Pentax 2nd hand for a decent price..I certainly wouldn't have swapped the Sigma for it had I needed to pay the full list price...the Sigma is an excellent lens & you won't be disappointed

I'm completely sold on it now..I'm convinced the colour/contrast is much nicer than the Sigma, here are a few more recent photos - apologies for the watermark but they're hosted on my website

I must admit I wasn't particularly impressed with the Kata bag..I bought one a while ago to replace my Tamrac adventure 7 but found it quite flimsy & the padding quite thin in comparison...access to the camera was better though - sent it back & still have the Tamrac

Echo the comments above, definitely the night shot - the bridge gets lost a little in the daytime shot
