To be honest I also think there is too much foreground & the main "scenery" doesn't have the impact I'm guessing you were hoping for

The best thing about the Pentax 18-250 is that it may encourage Tamron to reduce their price a little more, I'd definitely pick-up the Tamron version if they did so

I'm currently considering alternative ink cartridges for my Epson R220 as previously I bought cheaper originals on Ebay, unfortunately most been sold now seem to be fake

Has anyone any experience with Inkrite / Jettec or any other brand ?

The Tamron 18-250 gets very good reviews considering its focal range, here's a review (Nikon version only):

The difference between the Tamron / Pentax versions is virtually nothing, just a lens coating so, as already mentioned, if the Pentax is noticeably more expensive I'd go with the Tamron - it's also "tried & tested" & comes with a significantly longer warranty than the Pentax
