I just got my 30th PPG pic in!
There are, however, more than 100 that got declined (you can see them here).
This round I had one in and five declined...
As long as one doesn't take the PPG too serious it is quite fun.

So it is legal then. How can you argue with it in that case? And do you have a legal obligation to keep the original files, unaltered?
All seems like a bit of a non issue to me. If you are a reporter and you go to a "secret" place, take your "old" K20D or whatever that doesn't have a GPS built in and Bob's your uncle...
