I thought the GPS was a add on

I understood the GPS to be built into the new K20D, which makes it a "new" model. If it is just an add-on then it has little over existing loggers, such as I have, and means you still can't get the GPS data into RAW exif.

I stand corrected Gwyn Google has it as a new model.

My source is sometime right, sometime off, so I'm posting here with the hope somebody else might have heard some "whispers". It might be something like the medium format, but it might also be a point&shoot.

The sources I've seen only refer to a Pentax announcement, not a new camera. It could be anything, from a new model, the K20D GPS update, or a new lens, roadmap, or even a business announcement.
GPS won't help with the theft of copyright - it can be removed from the exif just as your own copyright info can.
