This is something that would look quite stunning on some big prints above the sofa!!!!!!!!

I like this style a lot

Just to clarify this topic for us non English speaking persons

Could some try to explain this topic for me. Sorry - but I'm not completely sure what's the meaning with the topic this week.

Any help would be appreciated!
I was a tad confused at first until i saw the 2 pics already posted and have deduced it means Photographing Photographers. I am sure someone will have a clearer explanation
Ahh Ok - that gives me an idea of what was the purpose of this competition.

If anyone have a different approach don't hesitate to reply to this thread...

Nimitz: This would be quite good even without the big cat - which I didn't notice at first! I find the top of the picture distracting, though. While the space does emphasise the smallness of the child and the fact that the mother is crouching down, I think it might have been better cropped off. I'm not happy with the frame either. There are enough lines and black and white stripes in the picture itself.
Thanks Pete.

To be honest - I was very proud of this shot - to get the lions head just as it popped out. I really thought this was close to get a good spot in this competition.

I was very disappointed when I read your verdict - but after a few grumpy hours I tried to do what you suggested. I cropped it even tighter and removed the frames.

Now I have to say: Spot on - very good judging I learnt something...

Congrats to Dan!

Love the mood in the 2 first ones. The 3rd one is a bit flat

Nice work.

Convert the second to Mono and post it in the competition this week. It would have a good shot

Overall nice shots.

I would crop the shots - try to avoid to much sea or sky. Depending on which shot it is.

The sun/reflecting shot. Crop the sky.

The others crop the sea. I think that would make a better composition.

A bit hard to tell the difference from sky to sea. Almost same color.

If you need any translation don't hesitate to ask. Danish/Norwegian is almost the same...

Was this tripod mounted? I see you have a 1/15 shutter speed. To slow to get decent images without a tripod - If you want to judge the sharpness.....
