I found this: http://www.adaptall-2.com/lenses/19AH.html
I guess it is that one - with the constant f3.5
I looks quite ok.

Anyone used one - or know some good things about it?
I'm watching a local auction with this one in. I could use a focal lenght like this. Currently price tag £20.

After you set the flash to a channel and wireless you need to pop it on the camera to sync them.
Then you need to press the shutter button halfway down to sync them.
Take a look at the manual here - page 38.

About this phrase:
softness and quality of light
Do you alter the light in PS?
Thanks again for your time.

What a wonderful shot. I often try to duplicate your mono conversion - but seems to lack the final touch.
Do you have a guide - or "gameplan" when doing the mono conversion?

I would suggest you to use the Av mode.
Using this - you can control both the sensitivity and the exposure. The camrea sets the shutterspeed.
I find this feature the best for low light.
Of course you need a fast lens (perhaps a prime).
