Mmmmm...the K7 isn't full frame.

OK I'm a cheapskate... but I have found the 7Dayshop multicoated "pro" filters to be very good and incredibly cheap.
I can certainly see no discernable adverse effects on picture quality at my "skill" level.
77mm UV multicoated filter for the princely sum of £8.99. It's not the thinnest of filters but apart from slight corner vignetting at the 12mm end of the 12-24 it wouldn't be a problem.

Love number 2.
But maybe a couple of steps to the right might have been worth a shot too. I think numbers 3 and 5 would have worked much better if you had matched the symmetry of number 1 and centered yourself on the rows of trees.( middle of the wall and middle of the tarmac) Number 1 has a great sky but there is nothing else to hold my attention. Number 4, I think you should have explored those "windows" top left with the sky showing through them.
Nothing wrong with that lens though!
Oh, it's great being an armchair critic! Maybe I should shut up and get out and take some pictures.

P.S.
the M100 f4 is 1:2 not a 1:1 macro. I'd recommend a 100mm macro to give you extra distance from the object , so you don't frighten it away or block the light. I'd love the 35mm macro ( but the 50% price rise has put that on hold) but in macro mode with short focal length lenses you can get so close that you can put the entire object in shadow unless you're very careful.

I'll second that recommendation for the M 100mm f4 macro. I had to pay a bit more for mine on ebay (£70) but well worth the money.
I started a thread in the " Your Photos" section called "M100 f4 macro. Hints and tips please" if you want to see some examples of what it can do in my unskilled hands.
It really is a great little lens and will leave you enough money to buy a good flash to light those macro shots when winter sets in!

In the old days I would have said prism housing but now it's technically the front of the flash housing.........or like somebody else said, badge.......
