Great web site Lilly and the photographs are of course wonderful.
Personally I'd drop the equipment list - who cares? Truth is if anyone does care they'll be looking for Nikon or Canon I expect.
May I ask what the main purpose of the site is? To showcase or drum up trade?
Mike
Yes, know what you mean re list of gear, perhaps it isnt so cool or required, think I will drop it!
Cheers, Lilly

Hi Lilly,
This looks very good. Beautiful Photography displayed in a smooth operating website. I think the chosen colour scheme is pleasing to the eye.
Two minor things though....I think the first letters in Lesley Treloar ( as in lesley treloar LRPS PHOTOGRAPHY should be capitalised and on this occasion you missed an old watermark. Other than that, well done.
Martin.

www.lesleytreloar.com
I was recommended Photium by an RPS friend and I noticed Matt used the same company.
I can say now I am very happy with Photium and has taken a lot of grief and time out of a building a website from scratch as I was originally attempting to do with Dreamweaver and getting nowhere fast!
I came to the conclusion I wanted to do photography, not website building, not where my skills lie! They are very helpful and well worth the cost of £3 per week for the standard package.
Anyway, thought you might like to have a look, any comments, constructive crits will be gratefully received.
I have still to add more content and maybe change the porfolios somewhat, this is only after 2 days work.

Well I am just back from my trip to the RPS in Bath and in a very jubilant mood after being awarded my LRPS distinction on Wednesday 1st April!
Apart from the great news that all my hard work has paid off, it was the most illuminating and educational experience to attend the day and observe the 6 judges appraise and critique everyone’s submissions. It was a most valuable experience and one that I would recommend anyone to attend to before finally submitting a panel of work.
I was very fortunate in that the first half of the day was allocated to the projected images and when half of the submissions were gone through (and two thirds had failed, which did not fill me with great confidence!) the print panels then commenced.
To my utter surprise my panel of prints was the very first one up, so at least I did not have to endure another tense wait, which it was for so many there!
Spokesman for the panel said that the author of this work is very competent and comfortable working with both mono and colour and has a very good seeing eye, with no criticism only positive comments, phew!
After it was announced I had passed, I was then congratulated and requested that my work be retained by the RPS as a good example of how an LRPS panel should be presented and to be used in future workshops, how could I refuse, it was a privilege!
So, I came back with an empty portfolio case, which was rather strange really.
This journey has been a great learning process and I would encourage anyone with good nerves to go for it, it does take you to another level of photography.
I have now to plan for the next one ARPS.
Here is the panel I finally submitted, aplogies for it not being great quality as low res jpeg of them all, but gives you an idea... and as you can see real name is Lesley, but nickname is Lilly which I prefer)

Hopefully we shall be able to look forward to some more of your documentary photography when life is a little less busy.
I apolgise for also being absent everyone - not through lack of interest I can assure you, but due to committments in a big build up to an RPS distinction this coming week in Bath, I am proverbially s******g myself! If I had known what I was letting myself in for I might have thought twice.
Anyway, regards to all and I shall be back soon as I have been missing you all!
cheers Lilly

My other fav was RR's really imaginative as well and drew me in and wanted to partake!
However, Hefty's was also quite contemporary in it's way and I know of one very talented snapper who has has had exhibitions on similar themes recording our lifestyle environments through homes and gardens - I wd have left out those dark jackets though!
BTW thanks for Second!

A (probably rather) basic question. How do you extract EXIF info from a pic posted in a thread? I can open images, but can't find EXIF info.

Good choice Hefty, it will be a real challenge for someone wanting to win with a mono pic.
