Thanks Daniel - good point - I'll bear that in mind. Never thought of using my polariser with my Macro Lens.

If you do get to Banff do take the Banff Gondola up to the top of Sulpher Mountain. The views are spectacular. Click Gondala
Also a walk round Tunnel Mountain to the Hoodoos is worth a visit - good views of Bow River.
And there is so much more. PM me if you require further suggestions.
The photo opportunities are endless. Take plenty of cards!

I've stopped using UV etc filters. If it's sunny (ish) I use a screw on Polariser and leave it on.

It would be great to see a Pentax stand at Focus next year - perhaps combined with Samsung - to 'half' the costs???

Well - I'm seriously considering the Sigma 150-500 and will certainly check out SRS - they sound excellent. Never heard of them before!
I'm also considering upgrading from my K10D to a K20D - do they do part exchanges??

Re DNG - is this a 'universal' RAW format? I think it's an Adobe feature and if so I guess it must be?
Can I convert PEF RAW using Photoshop?
I'll probably use DNG and buy bigger cards - Mmmm - any ideas which cards are best for RAW. I currently use Lexar 133x for JPEGs.
