Just about all the catch in focus threads I have seen all seem to involve humming birds.

so set up my tripod to try the technique and this is what I captured.

How will a round centre work on a rectangular viewer

I used to push my specs up. Then one day while taking pictures out on some rocks at low tide I went to push them back down and they had vanished. The new ones cost more than a DFA 100mm F2.8 Macro WR. Now I leave them in the car and the only time anything is in focus is when I look through the lens.

I have the Kx and upgraded to the K5 18-135 and have never picked up the Kx since.

just go for it as there will always be a newer camera coming out and if you always wait you will never buy anything.

All ISO settings are arrived at by electronic manipulation. the K-5s ISO range adjusted in the analogue domain ( pre convertors ) is I think contended. but I would imagine that ISO 80 is arrived at by digitally reducing gain
I realised as I was typing that all ISO had to be electronic manipulation but assumed that if you had to expand it, it would produce a poorer image

Sorry John both typing at the same time.

That is what I was meaning John, if it is due to electronic manipulation should I stick to 100. Or are you hinting that 200 is the base default.

but what is expanded in relation to quality. Would I be better sticking to 100 most of the time.

Which is better 80 or 100. And if 80 is better why is it not the default setting.

Do you think they are both as sharp. I manually focused with LV x 10 on the wrinkle on RHS of RH eye
