Do you think they are both as sharp. I manually focused with LV x 10 on the wrinkle on RHS of RH eye
Pentax K5, Kx, DA15 ltd,18-135, 18-55, 50-200, M100 f4 macro, M135 f3.5 A28 F2.5

Very close. The DA lens may have the edge, but that could be a difference in colouring that's deceiving the eye.

The slight difference in density does deceive the eye. Very hard to say which is which at this resolution.

Studying the wood grain, I would say that the DA 18-35, has a slight edge, but it is only slight.

The DA 18-135 has slightly better contrast, which I think gives an illusion of greater sharpness.

I great test, if I have time, I might repeat with my 18-135 and D FA 100 Macro WR.
