Camera fairs are another likely source - I don't know which is closest to you but there's a big one regularly at Wolverhampton (not a million miles from Worcestershire).

Good point well made.

Not that I agree with the actions of the PCSOs in these incidents but it's always worth remembering things could be a lot worse.

I think it looks great with black or brown. Can't imagine many will find their way over here though unfortunately.

I do a lot of flower photography and I own both the DA35 and the D-FA100. Most of the time you don't need true "macro", you just need close focus - when you're trying to get in contextual shots the working distance on the D-FA100 is simply far too great. For that reason the DA35 wins hands-down IMO.

I dunno, Shaky may be onto something there. We tend not to think of religion as being a big business over here because, well, it isn't really. We tend to forget that in many important markets (Iran, USA, Saudi Arabia, etc) it's probably the biggest game in town.

It's ironic really; the last time someone from the Bible coveted an apple I seem to recall it all ended in tears...

We had this discussion in a thread a couple of days ago but this is the first time I've seen that timeline graphic - fascinating stuff!

I'm still using V5 (and I think I still have my boxed set of floppies for V3 knocking around somewhere) but other than the ability to work with RAW files I don't really crave all the extra features from the later releases. Great piece of software though whichever version you use - I've dabbled with others but always came back to Photoshop.

If it was me I'd email or ring Pentax UK and ask if they could provide me with one. They must have a stack of them I'd imagine, or at the very least be able to get hold of them for a small fee.

I'm glad it all went (almost) to plan JudithAnn!

I can see you've started to catch the macro bug already - don't forget when the novelty of that starts to wear off that the Helios is also a pretty nice portrait lens in its own right (minus the extension tubes of course!).

Enjoy!

Mind you, I doubt I'll find a copy of the 2000mm lens.
You probably won't want to look at this link then...

I spy the lens flare filter, some circular texture maps and some rather snazzy fractal work - was that last bit a plug-in or did you do that part in a seperate app?
