The picture on the right does appear slightly sharper and the bokeh on the left does appear slightly less "blotchy" - so I reckon Zeiss left and Pentax right.

Both nice lenses and I'd be more than happy with either tbh.

I'm sure all will be revealed soon, at which time we'll all say a collective, "Aaaahhhh.... So *that's* what it's for! Seems so obvious now we know..." (or something along those lines).

I'm liking what I see so far about this camera but I still haven't seen any photos taken with a production model anywhere - to me that will be the real test.

Maybe it's a reversible bayonet like the lenses on the Rollei SL66? Effectively making *every* lens a macro lens without the need for additional accessories?

Pure speculation on my part, and if it was the case I'd have expected Pentax to have shouted about it so probably wrong...

Don't think it's tilt/shift though - not bulky enough to allow for the movements required.

As a job lot then I'd say £750 would be a good price to offer. Split up and sold individually I'd expect the items to fetch double that figure as a minimum. Obviously condition plays a part but I think those figures are quite conservative and should hold true unless the items are in a really rough state.

Without knowing anything about the digital medium format market, how many of them are weather sealed? Would this make it unique?
The Leica S2 is also sealed; but then it's still not in the shops, has a slightly poorer spec sheet than the 645D and is set to cost $23,000 without a lens.

I don't think there are any other sealed DMF cameras making this a bit of a travel/landscape photographer's dream I'd have thought.

There were certainly plenty of people there on Sunday - you couldn't actually get down some of the aisles due to the crush at times.

Still, I got my developing kit from Patterson, my chemicals from Fotospeed and my scanner from Camera World - a successful trip and saved enough money on it all to pay for the petrol/parking/entry.

Patterson are having to send their stuff on as they weren't carrying any stock, just taking orders. When it gets here next week I shall be developing my own film for the very first time - can't wait!

Oh, and I didn't buy a Sigma DP2 but I did fondle the display one and I'm even more tempted now...

OK I'll bite - what is a R3-UT exactly? Not something I've ever come across but it sounds exotic!

I would buy it for 600 euros - try it out and if you don't prefer it to the 35 you can always sell it on again for the same (or possibly more) money.

I shall be up there tomorrow but...

PS if anyone from the Aylesbury area needs a lift, we have spare seats!
...I need to get back early for a birthday do so I'll be using my own travel arrangements.

I've downloaded the floor plan and it looks like there's a coffee bar opposite Q10 (PhaseOne) so I'll mill around there about 12.30 to say Hi!

I want to start developing my own 120 films so my shopping list almost entirely consists of chemicals (hello Ilford), tanks (hi there Patterson) and a scanner (see you soon Epson sales folk). The rest of the time will just be browsing for any bargains I could possibly use.

I see Sigma are also there so if anyone sees me looking at a DP2 and reaching for my wallet then they have my advance permission to slap me hard!
