I have a couple. Be warned, if you buy from Qiqiwo, that they take quite a while to arrive. Chinese postmen still use cleft sticks, it seems.

Actually, mine arrived in under 4 days so perhaps that particular Chinese postman was trying out for the Olympic squad..?

Don; as others have said, you don't get a stand with the 360. Not that I was too concerned as this one did the trick very nicely.

I bought one of these from eBay and it's proved extremely useful! It has a footprint large enough to ensure stability and a threaded bottom for attaching to stands, is slim enough to slip in a side pocket of the camera bag and grips the flash securely whilst seeming to be virtually indestructible. Really couldn't ask for any more, especially for the price.

I like the strawberry shot - nice composition! If I could change anything it would be the paper plate, but I know from experience that you have to work with what you're given at these sorts of events so I can excuse it.

Does make my mouth water though and that's never a bad thing with food photography!

All very good! I particularly like number 4 (reflections in the brass instruments).

He's got some nice bits and pieces in there that's for sure, but is a second hand FA*85/1.4 really worth £677 when you could pick up a brand new FA77 for less money? I've never actually used one but half-a-stop of speed aside, can it really be that much better?

Nor did mine, but isn't that the packaging for the special Grand Prix Edition? Anyone with a K10D GP (*ahem* Unlocker *ahem*) care to confirm..?

It's true that Fuji have strange methods of calculating the megapixel outputs of their cameras (because of the uniquely patterned sensors they employ) so it's not uncommon to see a 3.2 megapixel Fuji being described as having 6.4 megapixels. Having said that I use a Contax TVS as my pocket digicam which has a 5 megapixel resolution and is permanently left at the highest quality JPEG setting; looking through a recent folder of pictures I see that the file sizes vary between 1.7 and 2.3MB so at a worst-case scenario I still fit 55 pictures onto a 128MB card - I'd be stunned if the Fuji fared any worse than this!

It's a shame you didn't buy it - they were very good cameras and I reckon your 128MB of storage would have held at least as many shots as two rolls of film (probably a lot more) back in the pre-digital days...

Actually I've said on here several times that as much as I like my DA12-24 it does take up a lot of space in the camera bag due to its porky dimensions, this has meant on several occassions it's been left at home in favour of the lighter, smaller (albeit not as wide) DA18-55.

I can't fault the quality of the 12-24 though and it'll focus close enough for pretty much anything I've ever wanted to do with it, nor have I ever felt I was missing out by not having the extra stop of speed that the DA14 offers. The difference in the field of view between 12mm and 24mm is also significant, making the 12-24 quite a versatile lens when it comes to framing your subject. Of course, you already have the DA21 so this may not be a big deal to you.

Whichever you buy I can't see that you can really go far wrong to be honest!

There are example shots posted in the Pentax Photo Gallery - navigate your way to Image Data > Lens and you'll find the 18-250 is the fifth on the list. There are some quite attractive photos on there although I'd personally want something a tad faster for interior shots - each to their own though...

I also like the first and third pictures. In the first it's the vibrant yellows in the lower sky that draw my eye, in the third the muted oranges contrast well with the silhouette of the pelican (would have done well in the "alone" competition a week or so back). In the second shot I don't think the fisheye curves really do the building any favours, I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't look quite "right" to me.

Welcome to the forum btw!
