Flash Stand

Welcome to the forum, I've moved your query to the Flash forum which seemed more appropriate, so hopefully you will get a good response.
With a hotshoe or simply an accessory shoe adapter you could mount your gun on a tripod, be it a full sized one or a table-top design.
Is that the sort of thing you had in mind?

I bought one of these from eBay and it's proved extremely useful! It has a footprint large enough to ensure stability and a threaded bottom for attaching to stands, is slim enough to slip in a side pocket of the camera bag and grips the flash securely whilst seeming to be virtually indestructible. Really couldn't ask for any more, especially for the price.

I have a couple. Be warned, if you buy from Qiqiwo, that they take quite a while to arrive. Chinese postmen still use cleft sticks, it seems.

Don I got one with my Metz but they don't come with the Pentax 360.
I use an old Velbon tripod I have converted to take my flashes off camera.

Actually, mine arrived in under 4 days so perhaps that particular Chinese postman was trying out for the Olympic squad..? I have a couple. Be warned, if you buy from Qiqiwo, that they take quite a while to arrive. Chinese postmen still use cleft sticks, it seems.

Don; as others have said, you don't get a stand with the 360. Not that I was too concerned as this one did the trick very nicely.

If you want a brolly as well... then Hama do a nice brolly+mount
http://www.castlecameras.co.uk/product-details.php?pid=31911
The mounting bracket is supplied with the brolly, but can be purchased separately as well:
http://www.castlecameras.co.uk/product-details.php?pid=31909
Has a tripod mount, so I mount the AF360/AF540 on a tripod and use a cheap reflector on the other side - great for head & shoulders studio portraiture

Mr CAD in Croydon currently has offers on brolly's, made by KOOD. 24" at £15 each, or 3 for £36 - available in shoot through white, or white/ silver/ gold reflective. Also does larger sizes.
Also does a brolly and flash mount for £13-95 that will fit on to either size tripod mount, or pro lighting stands.

Thank you all so very much for your replies, most helpful. This was my first time in the forum so I may have many other queries as I am fairly new to photography. Thanks again all
