Probably

Also "I don't know much about cameras", "it's in minty condition" and, my personal favourite, "I haven't tested it with film but it all seems to work perfectly".

Imagine the seller sweating over a chargeback on them...

In theory it should. I have success with a non-dedicated Braun flash on my K10D (using Auto mode). The only possible fly in the ointment could be if the flash has a "ready" pin that's waiting for a signal from the camera - as the layout for pins is different on Olympus it may not work as it never gets the signal. If you can find a non-dedicated flash with just two contacts (+/-) then I'd say that was a better bet.

Never say never. Several of the cameras I own now were impossible dreams a few years back but they all eventually crashed far enough in price for me to pick them up. I predict I'll be getting a 645D in around 2022 at this rate...

Any SDHC card should be fine, so up to 32GB.

PS. I'd recommend sticking to 2-4GB cards as the more you have on one card the more you stand to lose if it corrupts (and they do!). It's all about not putting your eggs in one basket...

From my own experience I don't think digital cameras are neccessarily any more problematic in the cold than film ones, it's the batteries that often prove to be flaky once the temperature drops. If your battery is giving up the ghost when the temperature reaches freezing point I'd think it's probably time it was replaced with a new one.

It's a personal preference thing - after four years and tens of thousands of photos in all conditions (and without being overly careful) my K10D still doesn't have a scratch on the screen. It does collect nose and fingerprints but then it still would if I had a protector on there. For that reason I've never bothered using one.

There are only two zoom lenses in the 6x7/67 line up - a 55-100/4.5 (moderately wide to normal) and a 90-180/5.6 (normal to mid-telephoto). Both of these lenses are rarer than proverbial hens' teeth so don't hold your breath finding them.

If I were you I'd look for one of the standard lenses (105/2.4 or 90/2.8 ) as they are much more commonplace and both superb performers. Here are some examples from the 105mm (link) and one from the 90mm (link).

Obviously you'll have to indulge in some "zooming with the feet" but I'm sure you can think creatively there.

As for where to get them; there are several dealers such as Ffordes and Mifsuds who carry a few used examples, it's also worth checking out the dealer ads in Amateur Photographer as well as eBay.

As far as I know there's nobody renting these out, but Mifsuds are selling a 105/2.4 for just £139 - the same sort of sum you'd pay for most rentals anyway and after the shoot you could sell for a similar amount losing little or nothing in the process. Happy days!

The FA77 is probably my favourite landscape lens, although they all get used depending on the situation. My DA12-24 is probably my least used for landscapes (but the most used indoors).

I went through several of the cheap £3 type versions, none of which were a particularly good fit and all requiring some sort of key/tool to remove. Once I had the genuine adapter (and yes they are comparatively expensive) I could see what the fuss was about.

As Tim says above, £22.48 is a bargain for a genuine adapter whereas I'd say £3 for a third party one is a false economy - buy cheap buy twice...
