Bit of both, but more capturing than building for me as a rule.

And your sister's phone number is...
Isn't it running along the bottom of the advert..?

Does the GX20 use the same batteries as the GX10, I have 2 original spares so it's something to factor in costs when considering my upgrade route.
Yes it does, and in turn the same batteries as the K10D and K20D (branding aside).

If it wasn't for the AF stipulation I could think of half a dozen, but if you want AF then only the DA21 really springs to mind as being wide and (more importantly) compact. Image quality is rather good too apparently...

I buy and sell a lot of old lenses and I've never come across IMAKO; as mowog says though it was probably a re-branded lens from another manufacturer. If you post a picture of it there's an outside chance I (or someone else on here) might recognise the lens it's based on.

I stand corrected - shows how much notice I pay to grips

I still think the offer of an alternative power source for emergencies is the only thing a grip could possible have going for it though.

Well I can't stand grips as a rule (as you know!) and I'd never conceive of buying one usually, but actually this one does have me tempted purely because it can take AA's as an alternative power source - as far as I know none of the competitor's models offer this feature (whereas you can get seperate GPS units and WiFi memory cards so their absence is of no consequence as far as I'm concerned).

As for a faster FPS, this is something that's limited by the shutter/mirror assembly as well as the sensor - in other words, just because the sensor can do 7fps doesn't mean the rest of the hardware is up to the job!

The extra card slot is an interesting possibility, but again one I'd rather see included in the body rather than the grip so we who think grips are pointless lumps of wasted money could enjoy the benefits too.

A couple of months back a friend of mine took a punt on a DA*50-135 (against my advice) on eBay. It was a zero feedback seller using a stock photo and no wording other than "Pentax lens brand new". I was convinced it was going to be a scam, as did everyone else as my friend was the only one who bid on it - hence he won at the starting price of £250.

Two days (of mild panic and me winding him up) later it turned up on his doorstep and was, as described, brand new in the box and perfect condition. I was gobsmacked and he was, needless to say, delighted with his bargain.

Just goes to show there are still bargains to be had on eBay but sometimes you just have to take a bit of a risk.
