all i will say is nikon d90 face detection and hd video fotage any extras are a bonus pentax will always make quality its all about the market and if pentax bring a k30d as the top camera with both features no one will buy it then i think not
Video on a DSLR is a gimmick, at the moment, but could be the way forward. Nikon think so and Canon are jumping on the band wagon.
For me it's like face detection, where this thread started. If it's on the body I want as an extra, so what? I may or may not use it.
PLEASE Pentax, give us a decent live view on all the next bodies.

If face recognition was part of the package then OK, but I wouldn't use it.

I think, no, but what do I know?
if I want face detection I'll buy a point and shoot with it. DSLR's are about shooting the creative (hard) way.

Persuading younger generations of up and coming photographers that film based photography still offers tremendous value for money, is a hard one.
