Hi Scottthehat!Its the k100d just.it came with a af 28-90 AF lens...anyone know if its a good one? I know very little about photography, and am only getting used to some of the terms as I read around on the internet. Will this lens suffice for most of my needs early on? thanks

yeah the k100d os a great camera the only difference between the k100d and the k100d super is that the super has shake reduction built in which is a great feature but you will be more than pleased with the k100d and as for the lens what make is it and what do you photo most?

its a pentax lens. What do I photograph most...apart from socially, prob mostly outdoor/nature shots when out hiking etc. I enjoy taking a camera when im out for the day on the motorbike also. but if im honest, im not out taking photos all the time right now, but intend changing all that. It should be arriving tomorrow, lets hope royal mail dont screw up!
you sure about the shake reduction? from looking around i thought it was the k100d which had it and the k110d which was without? maybe im wrong thou!

i stand corrected the k100d doesnt have the dust cleaning and the super does and for a starting lens it should be fine for what you need
